![]() ![]() ![]() Riffer has been updated a few times but I really hope maybe in next update it will reach the level of Playbeat 3, then it will be really interesting. But as for the drums (and my special need of mostly chill/ambient stuff) I mainly use another thing that has not come out yet. I am really looking forward to an updated version of Melody Sauce, I got a beta now for I dont know how many years that is so much improved but still not out, I have really no idea why.īought the update to Playbeat 3 but simply have not found the time to try it out but it seems to have improved really a lot. So with these two you have easyly around ten tracks (Instacomposer has 5 tracks but 7 "modes" like melody, chord and so on to choose from, so with two instances you got 7 already and then the Orb producer chords, bass, arp, melody).īoth have their strength, for me Instacomposer is a good starting point with 5 tracks in one instance and good options for chord progressions and tweaking any of the tracks following the same options, but for example the new "lyrical" melody of Orb Producer and the easy way to change polyphony/octaves or spread of the chords is a strength of Orb Producer. I have most of the stuff you mentioned and at the moment playing around mainly with Instacomposer and Orb Producer 3 which works well together as you can drag the in Instacomposer generated chordprogression/chord parts simply into Orb Producer Chords to be analyzed and then use the whole Orb Producer palette on it. At least your list (as far as I know) seems kind of complete.
